Preventive Maintenance
Preventative maintenance is crucial for sustaining optimal performance and longevity of equipment. By identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate, it minimizes downtime, enhances operational efficiency, and ultimately saves costs associated with unplanned repairs.
What is a PM inspection?
A Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspection is a proactive service carried out on-site to ensure the operational health of equipment. The frequency of these inspections can vary, with options for annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or even one-time assessments. During these inspections, trained technicians perform a series of checks, tests, and tasks to identify potential issues, optimize performance, and extend the lifespan of the equipment.
Depending on the size and type of equipment these tasks can include:
Visual Inspections
Recording of Voltage and Currents
Measuring Voltage & Internal resistance of batteries
Basic cleaning of the unit and its vicinity
Air-filter replacement
Infrared (IR) scanning
Load bank testing
Maintenance and Service Agreements
Emergency Power Services stands out by providing a range of maintenance agreements tailored to diverse requirements. These offerings encompass three distinct tiers of support:
The Full Maintenance Agreement is a comprehensive package that covers every aspect of upkeep. It includes all labor costs, parts expenses, travel fees, and other associated outlays. Moreover, this agreement comes with the added assurance of a guaranteed response time for any unforeseen emergency repairs that may arise.
The Corrective Maintenance Agreement offers an efficient solution for addressing issues. It covers all labor expenses, travel charges, and other associated costs, all backed by a guaranteed response time. However, this agreement does not include the cost of replacement parts, focusing primarily on labor and service aspects.
The Preventive Maintenance Agreement emphasizes proactive care. It offers lowered contract labor rates for repairs, coupled with a guaranteed response time. However, this agreement does not cover costs related to parts, labor, travel, or any expenses associated with repairs, focusing solely on providing cost-effective preventive services.
We provide flexibility in tailoring these agreements to specific needs. Clients have the option to further personalize the maintenance contracts by adjusting the frequency of preventive maintenance inspections and choosing the desired length of the response time for corrective or emergency repairs. This ensures that each agreement aligns precisely with the operational demands and preferences of the clients' critical power systems.
